Retirement, Maybe By John Bentley Retirement today is a question for many because of the greed and mess ups in America. The working people continue to get a heavier load put on their shoulders so those that do not work can continue to get free money. So I guess the entitlement crowd has been retired for a long time at our expense. So the question is how does anyone in the middle class retire now days with stocks in the gutter, social security going broke because the government took the funds and gave us an I.O.U. Well I believe many people will not be able to retire but the good news is from a biblical standpoint there was never any retirement any way. Even before government started creating all these special program people worked until they were just too old to go but they put money away to take of themselves. Question, were government program designed to make people dependent? The more we figure it out for ourselves and the less we depend on government the better off we will be. As far as my direction I don't think I ever saw my self retiring. I may slow down and work less but I believe in a goal life line which is simply if you constantly have a goal out in front of you it can extend your life line. Now this does not mean I can not get cancer or some other disease, get hit by a car or whatever. I have seen to many people just stop and then die or basic boredom. So I will keep moving try to keep growing help as many people as I can along the way and pray for the best life has to offer as long as I have breath.
